Our custom-formulated nylon locking patches retain their elastic memory at temperatures ranging from -50°C to +120°C, ensuring the fastener remains secure under extreme environmental shifts.
For fasteners rated at Grade 10.9 or 12.9, hydrogen embrittlement presents a major risk of sudden structural failure. During the acid cleaning and electroplating phases, atomic hydrogen can migrate into the steel matrix, creating micro-cracks under load.
