Ningyuan Fastener
Unlike standard triangular or trapezoidal threads, buttress threads are designed with highly asymmetrical profiles. They feature a steep face (the pressure flank, often angled between 3° to 7°) and a gradual sloped face (the clearance flank, typically 30° to 45°).
This distinct geometric formulation enables the system to handle extreme mechanical thrust in one axial direction while significantly minimizing radial bursting forces. This renders them indispensable for high-load, dynamic pressure operations.
Under heavy tensile stress, standard ISO threads experience substantial radial force, which can lead to expansion or radial "stripping" of the nut. The buttress thread design translates almost the entire load into axial force.
As a result, the stress distribution along the thread roots is incredibly uniform, vastly boosting the overall shear resistance. This mechanical property makes them highly suitable for machinery subjected to reciprocating forces and sudden high-load surges.
Due to the specific flank angles, the contact area during loading is optimized. When torque is applied, the pressure is directed squarely against the vertical flank, which significantly reduces the frictional resistance compared to traditional square thread designs.
This low-friction quality ensures that assembly and disassembly cycles do not prematurely degrade the thread pitch or compromise structural integrity over extended service lifetimes.
Founded in 2005 (formerly operating as Jin Langtao), Handan Ningyuan Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has established itself in Handan Yongnian, widely recognized as the fastener capital of China. Driven by our philosophy that development points the way and dedicated labor delivers truth, we began by producing specialized, high-end fasteners and solar energy mounting accessories.
Through close to two decades of technical evolution, the company reorganized in 2016, expanding its production capability to meet global standards. Today, we boast a facility covering over 20,000 square meters, equipped with more than 50 advanced manufacturing setups, supporting an annual sales volume exceeding 70 million yuan.
By integrating R&D, processing, and sales into a single structure, we serve diverse fields including solar PV mounting structures, seismic safety components, municipal utility corridors, and heavy industrial steel frameworks.
In modern industrial engineering, buttress threads serve as the primary connection method for applications requiring high axial force capacity. In the oil and gas sector, API buttress casing connections are standard for deep well shafts where pipes must support their own suspended weight over thousands of meters.
Similarly, in renewable energy projects worldwide, heavy-duty solar steel structures utilize customized buttress threads to anchor foundations securely. These connections must withstand high mechanical shear from extreme wind loads while avoiding the thread-loosening that can occur with symmetrical threads.
Global logistics and supply chain optimization have led to a concentration of specialized fastener manufacturing in dedicated clusters. Handan's Yongnian district in China represents one of these major hubs, housing integrated material sourcing, forging facilities, heat treatment plants, and surface coating installations.
By keeping the production supply chain highly localized, Chinese factories can deliver high-tensile buttress thread products at scale, maintaining fast lead times for large-scale infrastructure projects across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Our video demonstration highlights the high-speed cold heading and automated thread rolling machinery used at Handan Ningyuan. These systems maintain high precision on asymmetrical pitches, ensuring clean threads that pass strict ring and plug gauge tests.
From metallurgical analysis of incoming raw steel coils to the final packaging line, our quality control process checks dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and hardness to meet strict international standards.
Solar tracking arrays require structural fasteners that can handle constant dynamic shifts and wind load stresses. We supply specialized hot-dip galvanized C-shaped steel and heavy buttress threaded studs to ensure long-term stability in open fields and coastal solar farms.
For high-rise building services and electrical containment systems, our seismic brackets and channel steel bases provide secure anchoring against lateral movements. The high unidirectional resistance of buttress configurations helps lock structural components in place during high-vibration events.
Municipal utility tunnels rely on robust, rust-resistant supports. Our hot-dip galvanized and stainless steel threaded products resist moisture and chemical exposure, ensuring long-term durability for piping and high-voltage cable runs.
We manufacture buttress thread components in strict accordance with major global specifications:
These standards ensure that our fasteners are fully compatible with existing global engineering designs, making them drop-in replacements for standard components.
Industrial applications often subject threaded connectors to harsh atmospheric conditions. We offer several advanced protective finishes:
We closely monitor tolerance allowances on our threads to ensure that these thick protective layers do not interfere with smooth thread engagement during assembly.
Our quality system is certified under ISO 9001 and meets national defense quality standards. Our product catalog undergoes regular compliance testing to satisfy European RoHS, GB/T30512 (automotive chemical restrictions), and 2000/53/EC ELV directives.
