Double Quick Screws feature a dual-lead or double-start thread structure. This design allows the fastener to drive into substrates twice as fast per revolution compared to standard single-thread screws. The primary thread provides rapid advancement, while the secondary thread increases thread engagement and pull-out resistance. This makes them ideal for rapid drywall-to-stud assembly, wood fastening, and light steel framing.
For outdoor and coastal installations (such as solar mounting structures), we recommend Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG) or specialized Zinc-Nickel and Zinc-Flake coatings. HDG coatings form a thick zinc layer that provides galvanic protection. In salt spray tests (ASTM B117), our high-grade coatings resist red rust for more than 1,000 hours without degradation.
Hydrogen embrittlement is a risk for high-tensile fasteners (Class 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9) that undergo acid pickling and electroplating. To manage this risk, we bake our fasteners at 200°C for several hours immediately after plating. This process releases trapped atomic hydrogen from the steel matrix, helping to maintain mechanical integrity under heavy loads.
