Ningyuan Fastener
Explore our premium grade selections of manufacturing components optimized for global structural projects, mechanical assemblies, and high-performance equipment installations.
Handan Ningyuan Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (formerly Jin Langtao), established in 2005, is situated in the prominent industrial hub of Yongnian, Handan—nationally recognized as the "Fastener Capital" of China. For nearly two decades, we have continuously advanced our production technologies, growing from a high-end fastener workshop into a highly modern, research-driven enterprise.
Our operation integrates R&D, precision manufacturing, and professional export services. Through specialized departments—including an active municipal research center—we maintain full control over quality and innovation. We deliver premium components to complex industry sectors: photovoltaic (PV) solar racking, building electromechanical seismic systems, integrated utility pipe galleries, and heavy steel structure designs.
Oval head screws—defined by their unique combination of a countersunk base and a slightly domed top surface—serve a vital function in contemporary engineering. They bridge the structural gap between pure countersunk flat screws and decorative pan head fasteners. By allowing a portion of the head to sit flush within a countersunk recess while leaving a polished dome exposed, oval head configurations deliver both aerodynamic compliance, clean aesthetics, and excellent torque-bearing properties.
The standard oval head profile consists of an 82-degree or 90-degree countersunk angle leading up to a low-profile convex cap. This geometry distributes clamping force across a larger surface area compared to standard flat-head variants. Under high installation torque, the countersunk slope locks into the substrate, offering lateral stability, while the dome structure provides extra metal thickness directly above the driver recess. This prevents the driver bit from stripping the recess, allowing for higher tightening limits in automated assembly lines.
Our production lines produce cross-recessed (Phillips), slotted, hex socket, and security star drives (Torx) for oval head screws. By employing high-speed cold heading technology, the concentricity of the driver recess is maintained within a tolerance limit of ±0.05 mm. This exact centration reduces cam-out risks, ensuring a longer operational lifespan for installation tools and protecting prepainted or coated surfaces from scratching.
We process premium raw steel materials (carbon steel C1022A, alloy steels, and stainless steel grades SS304/SS316) to meet international standards. Raw materials undergo structural spheroidizing annealing to refine the carbide distribution before entering the cold heading stage. This metallurgical preparation guarantees that the finished oval head screws exhibit balanced tensile strength and ductibility, meeting ISO 898-1 standards for structural classifications (including Grades 4.8, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9).
Operating in environments such as coastal solar arrays or industrial chemical facilities requires advanced surface treatments. Ningyuan offers a comprehensive suite of surface coatings:
As the international supply landscape shifts, Ningyuan utilizes modernized manufacturing strategies to deliver high efficiency and complete quality compliance.
Multiple stations of cold-heading machines handle wire cutting, pre-forming, and final head configuration in a single sequence. This minimizes mechanical inconsistencies and delivers uniform tolerances.
Utilizing high-precision thread rolling dies, we form threads by displacive plastic deformation rather than cutting. This approach maintains continuous grain flow lines in the steel, increasing fatigue resistance by up to 30%.
Finished components go through automated optoelectronic inspection tables. Cameras evaluate dimensions, thread pitches, and surface finishes down to the sub-millimeter level, rejecting non-conforming items automatically.
Every shipment of steel coil has a traceable material certificate showing chemical composition heat numbers. We guarantee transparency from the raw material mill down to the delivered product box.

As infrastructure needs demand higher performance and lower environmental impact, industrial fasteners must adapt. Ningyuan's R&D team targets the following trends:
Using nickel-alloy formulations and titanium alloys to produce lightweight, high-tensile components. These advanced materials provide durability in extreme conditions, including aerospace components and marine solar arrays.
Transitioning to trivalent zinc and silicon-based treatments that eliminate hexavalent chromium. These coatings achieve long-lasting corrosion resistance without releasing toxic byproducts during production or recycling.
Integrating optical and laser inspection systems directly into our lines. This real-time feedback allows us to automatically correct tool wear, moving closer to a zero-defect production standard.
For international supply chain managers, managing logistical timelines and tariff regulations is essential. Ningyuan operates a reliable export desk to support international projects:
We provide complete HS Code documentation (such as Class 7318 classification) and certificates of origin to assist with import clearing and tariff optimization.
Screws are packed in moisture-resistant cartons, stacked on IPPC heat-treated wooden pallets, and secured with shrink wrap to prevent rust or shifting during sea transport.
We partner with international logistics providers to support warehouse buffer stock programs, ensuring a steady supply for manufacturing lines.

Flat head screws sit fully flush with the surface, which is ideal for flat mating interfaces. Oval head screws feature a domed top that rises slightly above the material surface. This dome profile provides a deeper driver recess, allowing for higher installation torque without stripping, while offering a decorative finish.
For high-strength fasteners (Class 10.9 and above), electroplating processes can introduce hydrogen into the steel matrix. To prevent hydrogen embrittlement, we put the parts through a baking process at 200°C to 220°C within 4 hours after electroplating. This diffuses any trapped hydrogen out of the metal. For critical applications, we recommend mechanical galvanizing or zinc-flake coatings, which do not involve acid pickling or electro-deposition.
We provide comprehensive OEM/ODM services based on customer drawings, CAD designs, or physical samples. Our engineering team designs custom tooling dies in-house, and we can configure custom thread pitches, special shoulder styles, proprietary drive types, and specialized surface coatings to meet specific requirements.
For standard stocked items, there is no strict MOQ. For custom production runs, the MOQ depends on the screw size (typically 50,000 to 100,000 units per size). Standard production runs are completed within 15 to 25 days, and shipping arrangements can be made through Tianjin or Qingdao ports.
